St Paul’s in context

I didn’t see this image until I look through the camera’s viewfinder. As I rotated the camera and zoomed in I noticed that adding the buildings in the foreground created a layered effect. It’s almost a progression through architectural styles (or am I stretching the point too far?)

Anyway, it was a lesson to look carefully at the viewfinder, and not simply act on what my eyes see for themselves. The camera rally does change the perspective.
