One of the unintended consequences of re-starting this blog is that it’s encouraging me to tackle the (very large) backlog of photos that I’ve taken, but not processed. So for the next few weeks, I’ll be dealing with images that were taken while on holiday in Vienna in June 2016.
This one is a panorama taken in Michealerplatz. This is a very popular place for tourists as one side of the square is dominated by the Hofburg (imperial residence).
I almost discarded this image, because of the graininess. (It was taken at 2100 hrs, with my iPhone, which set the ISO at 1000.) But as I looked closely at the image and its potential, I felt that the grain enhanced the image. What do you think?
