Salzburger Dom

Salzburger Dom

During our visit, I became quite fond of the Salzburger Dom (Salzburg cathedral). It’s not the most elegant, extravagant or attractive building. But its location in the old town and its accessibility create a sense of it being the heartbeat of the city.

This image was taken from the Festung Hohensalzburg (castle). One of the features of the cathedral is that it has open spaces on three sides. So, you can get different perspectives by wandering around it.

The processing here is another B&W conversion with a layer mask to pull through some of the colours and highlights.
