At the ‘V and A’

At the ‘V and A’

I guess that most people visit the Victoria and Albert Museum for the artefacts and exhibitions (which are amazing). For me, there is something about the building and the atmosphere that draws me back here. I love the red brick that features throughout the site. I love the elegance of the lines. On this visit, I was captivated by the juxtaposition of modern and traditional architecture.

It might seem odd to talk about the red bricks and then convert the image to black and white, but I like the elegance of this version. You can see the coloured alternative at Flickr.

For the record, I did go to an exhibition as well as taking photos. It was a photography exhibition!
