Window shopping

The vibrant colours in this display were really eye-catching. However, the modern, pendant light was a bit out of character.

Shooting through the window was a bit tricky for me, and only partially successful. Any hints or tips?

By the way, if you visit the Freyung Passage – or are anywhere near it – I’d recommend CaffèCouture. One of the best coffees ever!

Ladies who shop

Over the next couple of weeks, I’ll be publishing more photos from our holiday in Austria. The second leg was spent in Vienna – a city that I adore.

This one of the entrances to the Freyung Passage – a small, very elegant shopping arcade. The monochrome seems to reinforce the timeless beauty of the surroundings.

As regular readers will know, photographing people is not one of my strengths. So this is pushing me out of my comfort zone. Technically, I don’t think it’s a great image, but that’s part of the learning experience.
