Parting shot

Parting shot

The final shot from our trip to London. The last one to appear here; and the last one that I took.

Is it ever quiet around King’s Cross?

Juxtaposition

Juxtaposition

Ancient and modern. I like these kind of contrasts… although sometimes you need to be lucky to capture them!

The conversation

The conversation

5 minutes… 3 mini stories #1

I stood for no more than 5 minutes in one spot, watching the people passing. It wasn’t a deliberate exercise – I just became fascinated with the scenes that unfolded. (Next time, it might be more intentional!)

I liked the conversation to the right of the shot. I couldn’t hear what was being discussed, but it looked intense.

Pond Life

Pond Life

What do you do with a disused platform on the Tube?

Turn it into an exhibition space. This is part of TfL’s Art on the Underground project.

Pond Life by Monster Chetwynd is on display at Gloucester Road until May 2024. Sometimes, we need to pause as we travel around.
