Pan Loaf

Pan Loaf

I am reliably informed that this section of St Monans’ sea defences is known as the pan loaf – no doubt due to its shape.

The three gulls standing on it caught my eye. (If you enlarge the image, you’ll see that there’s another one lying down.)

Low

Low

Low tide in the harbour. And a bunch of seaweed, presumably brought in with recent storms.

[Insert a metaphor here about the ebbs and flows of life.]

Frozen out

Frozen out

For several months, the Haugh Park in Cupar has been flooded… almost all of it!

So, when we drove past and noticed that it was frozen over, I had to stop and take a few quick shots.

I liked the reflections of the trees in the icy surface, and the silhouettes of those trees creating something close to symmetry.
