… with a twist
A classic view of Pittenweem harbour, but with the emphasis on the foreground detail. I think it’s still distinctively the East Neuk of Fife.

Sunlight on the lighthouse
I liked the way that the strong September sun was reflecting off the white walls of Elie Ness lighthouse. (This calls for closer inspection on a future visit.)

Seize the opportunity
When I spotted this cormorant sitting on a. buoy in the harbour, I was convinced that it would fly away as soon as I took my camera out. So, I hesitated, and simply watched it for a wee while. As it hadn’t moved, I decided to take my chance.
I managed to get a few shots before it flew away. If you see a chance…
