A classic view of Pittenweem harbour, but with the emphasis on the foreground detail. I think it’s still distinctively the East Neuk of Fife.

… and a ‘stiff breeze’ coming off the Firth. At times I couldn’t hold the camera steady! At least it didn’t rain while we were there.

When I spotted this cormorant sitting on a. buoy in the harbour, I was convinced that it would fly away as soon as I took my camera out. So, I hesitated, and simply watched it for a wee while. As it hadn’t moved, I decided to take my chance.
